Coach and his wife Mary is resting peacefully at the Valley of the Temple cemetary. The picture below shows the entrance on the right, and up on the hilltop, a chapel to the left. They're near the roadside.

There is a scholarship that's been set up at the University of Hawaii under Soichi Sakamoto/Hoe (soon, the name will be changed to U.H. Foundation, in memory of Soichi Sakamoto, P.O. Box 11270, Honolulu, Hawaii 96828), if anyone is interested in contributing to this scholarship fund. The scholarship was initially set up by former national swimmer Ms.Ivanelle Hoe.
