 WARM-UP:  Warm-ups must be supervised by a USA swimming registered "Coach Member" following guidelines established by the LSC. Supervising deck coaches shall have their USA Swimming Registration card prominently displayed at all times. Coaches will need to present their cards to pick up checkin sheets; exceptions must see the meet referee. The registration chairperson will enforce registration rules regarding coaches. Disregard of the USA Swimming safety rules will be grounds for disqualification of swimmer from competition.
 DIVISIONS:  Session 1 (morning): See attached

 RULES:  Current USA Swimming and Hawaiian Swimming rules will govern meet. This meet will use the new start procedure passed at convention 1999. The no-recall rule for starts will also be in effect.
 FORMAT:  Cardless, timed finals, using semi-automatic timing system (3 buttons/no touch pads) with manual watch backup. The meet shall be conducted in SPLIT SESSIONS. The afternoon session shall start 45 minutes after the completion of the morning session events. The four (4) hour rule will be in effect for swimmers in the 12 and under age groups.
 EVENTS:  See attached
 ELIGIBILITY:  All swimmers must be currently USA Swimming registered and their registration numbers must be on the master entry form or disk file. No deck registration will be accepted. New registrations must be mailed directly to the LSC Registrar and postmarked no later than the meet date. Master Recap sheets must be signed and included with the entries.
 ENTRIES: SWIMMERS WILL BE ALLOWED TO SWIM FIVE (5) EVENTS PER DAY, INCLUDING RELAYS. 12 & Under Swimmers will be allowed to swim only one session per day. Fines for swimming out of classification will be based on the LSC database results of the past 2 year schedule.
Swimmers may splash events as follows: A SWIMMER MAY SPLASH ONE EVENT PER DAY IF HE/SHE HAS AT LEAST ONE OTHER EVENT WHICH HE/SHE QUALIFY FOR ON THAT DAY, BUT NOT TO EXCEED THE MAXIMUM NUMBER OF EVENTS OFFERED PER DAY. THEY MUST HAVE A MINIMUM "HI A" TIME IN THE EVENT THEY AE SPLASHING AND MUST BE ENTERED AT A NO TIME (NT) FOR THAT EVENT
 DISTANCE REQUIREMENTS:  Swimmers must have HI-A time for the shorter (50/100) stroke and distance for the event entered.
 I.M. REQUIREMTS:  For the 200/400 I.M., swimmer must have a HI-A time in at least
one (1) of the four (4) strokes in a 50 M/Y or 100 M/Y.
 ENTRY FEES  $1.75 per individual event and $ 6.25 per relay event. Make checks payable to: HAWAII SWIMMING CLUB -WAIKELE Entry fees must accompany entries. No refunds will be made.
 DEADLINE:

 Entries must be RECEIVED NO LATER than 7days before the meet.NO late entries will be accepted at the meet. Recap form must be sent with entries. Download entry recap form from the Web and attach to entries if sending by email.

 Checkin: Check-in sheets will be given to coaches for verification. Effective March 1, 2001, coaches will need to present their credentials to pick up check-in sheets; exceptions must see the meet referee. Coaches are to verify their swimmers and scratch events as appropriate. Sheets for morning session must be returned to the Clerk of Course one (1) hour before start of meet. Check-in sheets for the afternoon session must be returned to the Clerk of Course by the end of morning session.
 AWARDS:  Individual medals will be awarded for 1st through 3rd places and ribbons will be awarded for 4th through 8th places in each age group. Relay medals will be awarded for 1st place and ribbons will be awarded for 2nd and 3rd places. Team trophies will be awarded for the 1st through 8th place teams.
 RESULTS:  Hard copy of meet results will be provided upon request only.
OFFICICALS:  Each team is required to provide one official for every five swimmers entered in the meet. Failure to provide necessary officials will be sufficient cause for disqualification of part or all swimmers on the team entered in the meet.
