January 5, 2025. Pearl City Pool, now will be referred to the Ken Suenaga Pearl City Pool.

The City has recognized the contriubtion to the Pearl City community, as well as the swimming pool.

Today, the 5th of January, Coach Ken Suenaga has his name on the swim facility that he was at for the past 50+ years.

Starting the Pearl City Aquatics, in 1968 until 2022. At Coach Ken's 91st Birthday, he was declared the "Oldest, Active Swim Coach" in the United States.
