Hawaii Swimming Club-Maui was well represented at the Hawaii State Short

Course Swim Meet at the Kailua Recreation Pool on Oahu. The swim club

which is made up of teams from Oahu, Hawaii, Molokai and Maui placed 3rd

in the State Swim Meet.

Ailani Miller and Nikoya Collier helped set the new 10&U- 200 medley

relay record breaking the former state record by 2 full seconds. They

were also on the winning 200 free relay team.

Swimmers from HSC-Maui who placed in the top 3 spots were: (10&U)

Nikoya Collier-1st - 50 & 100 butterfly, 2nd-100IM, Ailani Miller-2nd -

50 back & 100 breaststroke, 3rd - 50 breaststroke & 100 back, (11-12)

Helena Suehiro - 3rd-500 free, (11-12) Kyle Hayashi - 2nd - 50 back &

100 breaststroke, 3rd 200IM, (13-14) Caleb Rowe - 1st- 100 breaststroke,

200 breaststroke, 200 IM, 200 back, 2nd- 100 free, 200 free, 100 back,

3rd- 50 free, (15-16) Reece Kaya - 1st - 100 fly, 200 fly, 200 IM, 400

IM, 2nd - 200 free, 100 back, 200 back, and (17-18) Daniel Shishido-

3rd-200 breaststroke.
