FIRST COUNTY LONG COURSE MEET RESULTS

 

ON APRIL 18, HSC TRAVELED TO LAHAINA TO SWIM THEIR FIRST LONG COURSE

MEET OF THE SEASON. IT PROVED TO BE A WELL WORTH JOURNEY FOR EVERYONE.

KUDOS GOES TO HELENA SUEHIRO WHO BROKE ONE OF OUR FORMER HSC SWIMMERS

RECORD IN THE 100 BREASTSTROKE. HER TIME OF 1:24.84 ECLIPSED THE RECORD

SET BY KRISTINE HAYASHI IN 1991 BY .13 SECONDS. THIS WAS ALSO A ZONE

QUALIFYING TIME.

ALSO SETTING A NEW COUNTY MEET RECORD WAS REECE KAYA SWIMMING THE

100BACK IN THE TIME OF 1:08.69 AND BREAKING THE RECORD SET IN 1992 BY

1.44 SECONDS!GREAT JOB REECE.
