Course Long Course - 50 Meters, 8 lanes
Dates:: Friday June 30th through Sunday, July 2nd, 2000
Time:

 Friday, June 30th Warmup: 1:00 p.m.
Meet Start: 3:00 p.m.
 *Saturday, July 1st Warmup: 6:30 a.m. 

 Opening Ceremony Start:8:00 a.m. 
  Meet Starts: 8:30 a.m. 
 *Sunday, July 2nd Warmup: 6:30 a.m. 
Meet Starts: 8:30 a.m.

* The start time for the afternoon sessions will be one hour following the morning sessions. Projected start times will be communicated to all teams once entries are entered and timeline is developed.

Warmup: Warm-up must be supervised by a USA registered "Coach Member" following the guidelines established by the LSC. The Registration Chairperson will enforce registration rules regarding coaches. Disregard of the USA safety rules will be grounds for disqualification of a swimmer from competition.
Rules: 2000 USA and Hawaiian Swimming rules will govern this meet. (The fine for swimming out of classification will be enforced)
New Procedure:  This meet will use the new start procedure passed at the 1999 Convention. The no -recall rule for starts will also be in effect.
Format: Cardless, timed finals, using Automatic Timing System (Timing System with pads) with manual watch backup. The four (4) hour rule will be in effect for swimmers in the 12 and under age groups.
Division: Women/Men: 10/U, 11/12, 13/14, 15/16, Open Division. The age of the swimmer on June 30, 2000 will govern the entire meet.
Events: See attached sheet.
Eligibility: All swimmers must be current USA registered. Swimmers' USA registration numbers must be on the master entry form. No deck registration will be accepted. New registrations must be mailed directly to the LSC Registrar and postmarked no later than the meet date. Master Recap sheets must be signed and included with the entries.
Entries: Swimmers are limited to swim four (4) individual events each day. Swimmers who have met or bettered the respect ive time standards are eligible. If a swimmer does not make or better an entry time during the meet, the team must be prepared to provide documentation of the entry time or be subject to the fine established by Hawaiian Swimming.
Splashes: 

A swimmer may splash one event per day if he/she has at least one other event which they qualify for on that day, but may not exceed the maximum number of events offered per day. They must have a minimum HI-A time in the event they are splashing.

Splashes must be entered as a NT.

Entry Fees:
(1) $1.75 per individual event and (2) $6.25 per relay event. (This includes administration fees). Please make checks payable to:

All team entries must be received by Friday, June 23, 2000. No late entries will be taken at the meet.

We will be using the Meet Manager Program. Please e-mail entries or submit entries on 3.5" diskette along with the attached signed Master Entry Form and check for entry fees. All entry fees are due before the first event of the meet.

 Check-In Procedure: Check-in sheets will be given to coaches for verification. Coaches are to verify their swimmers and scratch events as appropriate. Sheets must be returned to the Clerk of Course no later than 30 minutes before the start of the session. In order to adhere to the meet schedule, no late check- in sheets will be accepted.
Officials:

Each club is to provide one official for every five swimmers entered in the meet.

Hospitality:  Refreshments will be available to Officials and Coaches during the meet.
 Awards:

Individual: Medals will be awarded for 1st - 3rd place. Ribbons for 4th - 8th place.

Relays: Medals will be awarded for 1st Ribbons will be awarded 2nd - 3rd place.

Team trophies will be awarded for the 1st through 8th place teams.

Outstanding swimmer trophies will be awarded to the top male and female point winner in each age group.
